Biography
Kevin J. Mott, MD, FAAD earned his medical degree in 1986 at the University of Iowa. After an internship in General Surgery, he was stationed in Hawaii for five years, including a tour in the Gulf War as a Battalion Surgeon. Â Following his distinguished military career in the Navy, he completed a residency and fellowship in dermatology and dermatologic surgery at the University of Missouri. Â He returned to Hawaii and founded the Hawaii Skin Cancer Center where he practiced 15 years before relocating to Boulder, CO to found Ideal Dermatology/Skin., PC.
Dr. Mott is Board Certified in Dermatology, Â Fellowship-trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, Â and was voted annually as one of Hawaii’s “Best Doctors.” Â He brings 25 years of experience treating skin cancer and sun damage as well as advanced reconstructive techniques to Colorado. Â He is past president of the Hawaii Dermatological Society and a member of the ACMS, ASDS, AACS, and AAD.
