Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Hania Flaten is a Board-Certified Dermatologist who combines in-depth clinical knowledge with a warm and personable approach. She is committed to delivering the highest quality care for her patients.
Dr. Flaten was born and raised in Colorado. She received her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in Maine and subsequently attended medical school at the University of Colorado, where she was top of her class and served as president of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed a rigorous dermatology residency at the University of Colorado, treating a wide variety of skin diseases in diverse patient populations at Denver Health Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs, Children’s Hospital of Colorado, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Dr. Flaten has training in both allopathic and integrative dermatology which allows her to merge the latest research and holistic methods to personalize her approach to each patient. Dr. Flaten has published numerous articles in medical journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD).
Dr. Flaten has experience treating patients of all ages and skin types. Her professional interests include:

Outside of work, Dr. Flaten is a whitewater kayaker, mountain biker, and parent to two young boys.
