Biography
Cathy Pacocha is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA-C). She has been practicing in Colorado since 2001. Cathy graduated Cum Laude from the University of Vermont where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sciences and Psychology. Cathy received her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the Arizona School of Health Sciences. Shortly after graduation, Cathy returned to her hometown of Boulder, Colorado to work in primary care. She started her career with a focus on medical dermatology in 2006, then had a unique opportunity to join Ideal Dermatology in 2018.
Cathy’s expertise is in the areas of medical dermatology, as well as Botox procedures. She has earned her Diplomate status through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). The SDPA is the only specialty organization that has developed a program recognizing the Diplomate status for experienced dermatology PAs. Becoming an SDPA Diplomate represents the highest honor available to a Dermatology PA.
Cathy is an avid skier and mountain biker, so when she’s not practicing dermatology, you’ll find her outdoors with her husband, 2 boys and goofy chocolate labrador retriever enjoying Colorado’s mountains. As a loving mother, wife and native Coloradan, Cathy is deeply passionate about sharing outdoor experiences with her family and friends.
